Brooklyn Love
I don't get a chance to work at the AREA Kids Court st. store very often but everytime I do I always eye the Egg and Avocado Canvas bag with the image of the Brooklyn bridge. Not only is a great way to show some Brooklyn love but it's also convenient with plenty of inside pockets and pouches. Dang the more I look at it the more I like it. I love the fact that it can be used as either a tote or as shoulder or messenger bag. Hmmm that would be perfect for my trips to the grocery store oh or all my school junk!

A customer came into the AREA Kids store looking for brown shoes for her little one's Halloween costume as Charlie Brown. I thought that was such a great idea for a little toddler! Then I started wondering if perhaps I missed the airing of the Halloween special but to my luck I haven't! Tomorrow night at 8pm ABC will be airing the best peanuts special ever! Here's a little history: "It's the Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown" was the third Peanuts special (and first Halloween special) to be produced and animated by Bill Meléndez. Its initial broadcast took place on October 27th, 1966 on the CBS network.I have to say that I think my favorite part is when they all go trick-or-treating and Charlie Brown keeps getting rocks instead of candy. Oh that poor little Charlie Brown.
(Oh and the customer bought the cute brown Pediped Loafers which turned out to be exactly what she was looking for)
Mellisa & Doug Fruits for Halloween?!
Yesterday evening woman comes to our Montague Store soooo happy that she found Mellisa & Doug plastic fruits for her Halloween Party!
She said she needed them to make her Halloween hat.
I would never think....fruits for the hat? But why not?
People's imagination...the most important that she was so happy!
She said she was looking for them everywhere and she found them at AREA!!!!
