Soooo Soft!

The Cuskiboo baby comforter is made from 100% bamboo yarn. It's so soft I just want to snuggle up to it. When you keep it inside your clothes or bed for a few days it absorbs those mommy/daddy scents so that when your baby sleeps it's comforted not only by something soft and snuggly they can cling to but by his or her parents' scents. How cool is that!

why are cashews so darn tasty?

Ok so I know cashews are pretty healthy when eaten in moderation and they give you energy blah blah blah but they are also full with fat!! like 180 calories per 1/4 cup! I just totally ate like 1 cup no joke and I feel totally sick from it too lol. No more cashews for a while...

Where did summer go!?!?!?!?!

A few days ago it was still hot out, and now i get out of the shower and freeze where i stand! That can only mean one thing here at Area Kids...SALE!!! Most of the fall back stock has been brought up from what has affectionately become my home away from home (the basement) and now we are getting into the heavy duty winter back stock. Next to arrive will be kiwi industries hats and sweaters, tea llama sweaters, Kik kid and bear hands hats and mittens among the cornucopia (fall reference) of back stock we have here.

Tons of Customers...

So it has been really busy here up until now...a lot of people coming in and looking around asking questions but not a lot of buying! ...i asked myself why? So then I realized OH! duh I have a huge sign by the window telling people there is a huge sale at 5th ave haha...well at least there are still people interested in what my store has to offer :)
