Glad to be back to Area!

Hi Everybody,
so I am back from my vacation in Poland.
My daughter Amelie < and I have been to two weddings - one was my dear brother's!
We also met a new person in our family - my little nice, she is 3 months now and sooo cute!!!
I miss my family there very much already, but the best part of our coming back to NY was my husband waiting for us on the airport with flowers for me and BLA BLA doll for our daughter...

The Fear of Sticky Face!

Stroller rolls into the store. I look over and suddenly i got THE FEAR. It's a sticky faced kid with a cherry ice pop and its melting all over her hands and oh.. a big chunk falls right on her leg.. she doesn't care though and picks up the debris tries to eat it but just misses her mouth and hits her cheek sliding over to its original destination leaving a film of pinkish red war paint in its wake. AW Geez don't let her out of the stroller!!

and then i wake up. and it was all a dream.

no it wasn't. it just happened. and bless her sweet mom and grandpa for keeping her strapped in while they shopped. otherwise i'd have to be taking a hose to the merch right now. big whew!

MTA SUCKS!!!!!!!!!!

I just need to vent a little about my horrible weekend morning with the lovely NYC MTA!!!!!!!
I had a plan this morning - wake up early, do some work on the computer, go to FedEx Kinko's to pick up my order, get coffee at BusyChef and take a nice stroll to Area Court with at least fifteen minutes to spare to pick up a croissant down the street.
Thanks to MTA, my 9:15 bus never showed, the alternative 9:33 J-train got to the station and left without opening it's doors, the train behind that was late and got there at 10:02! Which means I never made it Downtown until 10:25, with little to no time to pick up my work at Kinko's and no time to get breakfast, and my stroll to work turned into a speed walk and made it here four minutes late.
Now I am starving.
Thank you dirty, chaotic, ever fare increasing, NYC Transit.....
PS: I'll write a happier blog later.
