Creativity on the Go...

I think this would be a wonderful little gift for a child. Filled with fun, vibrant images of aquatic life, the puzzle also comes with crayons to colour in the reverse side of the completed puzzle. This 24 piece puzzle is packaged in a neat, sturdy box making perfect for backseat distraction on long trips!
Dr. Seuss
Theodor Seuss Geisel (pronounced /ˈsɔɪs ˈɡaɪzəl/; March 2, 1904 – September 24, 1991) was an iconic and beloved American writer and cartoonist, better known by his pen name, Dr. Seuss (often pronounced /ˈsuːs/ or /ˈsjuːs/, though he himself said /ˈsɔɪs/).[1] He published over 60 children's books, which were often characterized by his imaginative characters, rhyme and frequent use of trisyllabic meter. His most notable books include the bestselling classics Green Eggs and Ham, The Cat in the Hat, and One Fish Two Fish Red Fish Blue Fish. Numerous adaptations of his work have been created, including eleven television specials, three feature films and a Broadway musical. Creativity Rocks!!

I've officially sold all of our Mudpuppy Create your Own Cards! I guess they are more popular than I expected them to be....I guess it makes sense right? really colorful cards that you can make into a sorry card, happy birthday card or almost any greeting under the sun :)these are the two I carried here at the 7th ave store:
Cute huh!
One Very Hungry Caterpillar!

My friend's little one, Mia is insanely obsessed with Eric Carle's, The Very Hungry Caterpillar. When she chooses her books for bedtime, it's the first book she grabs. She knew the entire story by heart when she was only two years old. I don't understand what it is about the story she adores so much, but I love seeing her excitement when it's read to her. Personally, I'm really attracted to the book's art. It's not as 'cartoony' as other children's books and I love the blend of primary colours. I also love all the fun merchandise that were developed from this book and the other children's stories told by Eric Carle. From puzzles, to plush toys, to birthday invitations, this story of a future butterfly's insatiable appetite has been and would continue to be a hearty treat for Mia and many other little ones for quite some time to come.
Tea time!

I'm going through the sale section here at AREA PLAY and found this ridiculously cute tin of 4 little wooden teabags for those classy mid-afternoon sessions of sip sip-arooing around with your favorite pals.
I'm going to dig around some and see if I can find some more, but as of now, there are only 2 left!!! Get em while they're steeping!!!!!!!
