Why don't they have these places in Brooklyn??

I am in Nebraska and spending my days at the water park......... why can't they make a place like this in Brooklyn?? I would gladly pay an admission fee to enjoy a wave pool, a lazy river & waterslides.......is there not a demand or is insurance too high??

These are really cool!

I think these Bari Lynn headbands are so pretty. They come in these really cool colours and funky patterns on them - the rhinestone frog is my favourite. Saomi tried on the purple band with the butterfly on it while in the Toddler store last week and it looked really adorable on her.

Side note...Saomi is a big help with Windex and paper towels ;)

Area Court has NO SOUND!!!

So this has been my second day at Area Court this week and unfortunately the speakers do not work. The wires might be broken or something. It is quite depressing not having anything to listen to but my own thoughts - this can be quite annoying because it can get like a kid with ADD watching tv up there. I find myself getting really excited when a talkative customer comes into the store, and I'm actually excited to conversate with them! Why did I forget my iPod?! Maybe I should just start singing to myself, but then again, I wouldn't wish that on my worst enemy :(

Hair is Tricky Buisness!!!

Too make a long story short, i decided it would be a good idea to bleach my hair, and it really really really really really wasn't! I looked like a deranged Barbie Doll. So, i needed to hall a** to like three different store to find the two specific hair colors i needed to change my hair back and then had to follow a barge of ridiculous instructions so as not to turn my hair into a frizzed out rainbow of DEATH!!!!! happy to report my hair is back to normal

Too Busy Too Blog!!

Yesterday was so busy at the toddler store, i din even have time to blog! After the lose of the baby store, its good to see business is still booming on Smith St. It was also awesome to tell people who came in and asked if we sold toddler or baby clothes, that we sold both!! HA HA Now, however, i have to tell people we sell clothes and the toy store sells all the toys, but the balance of life will always find its state of equilibrium! Also, I'm really excited because i finally got Pandora to work on the 7th Ave. Computer! Last time i was here i had to sit through a ten hour shift with no music AGHHHHHHHHH! it was terrible :( So now i can secretly continue my musical affair with Imogen Heap ( I <3 Her!!!)

MTA Sucks!!! Chapter 2

I hate the MTA. I really don't understand why we pay so much money to begin with, they raise the prices still higher, and then provide less service? Does that seem absolutely ridiculous, or am i alone on this one? Today i left my house at 8:15, to take the N train, however, there were no Manhattan bound trains, so went to take the bus to the D, which took twenty minutes to get there, the D was waiting in the station because of there being so many trains on the line we were held at every stop!!!! Finally i get to 36th St. and wait for the R which surprisingly comes in like two minutes and i am only five minutes late. Here is the thing though, it should not take me nearly 1 1/2 hours to get to seventh ave from Bensonhurst!!!! I HATE THE MTA!!
