#4. It has two pockets that are removable and two drawers that holds sundry items.
#5. The size is perfect: 14.5 inches x 8.25 inches high x 6.5 inches deep.

Slackajack Monkey

Jelly Cat makes a bunch of really cute furry toys, the giraffe and cow are awesome but my current best pal is slackajack monkey. He has kept me company on many a lonely shift. He is cute, lanky, fun to pose and always has a smile on his face. Plus his name is fun to say. Go on...say it.

Busy Underneath!

While I'm not up in the store commercing with the fine folk of Carroll Gardens, I'm down in the literal underbelly of this operation, shelving stock, cutting down boxes, and making sure all of the AREA kids locations have the all toys they need for commercing with their own fine folk(s).

On that note, I am going down into the mines now. It's actually more fun than I made it sound. ha.

On the way: bubbles, wee gallery art cards, and more water guns!!

Very Cute Story.

It is sooooooooooo cute.

All this information is from www.monchhichi.edu

History
Monchhichi is one of many wonderful toys from Sekiguchi. Besides these cute little monkeys Sekiguchi also produces fashion dolls, collector dolls, plush animals and many other toys. The Sekiguchi headquarters are located in Tokyo Japan, at the same place where everything started in 1918. Mr. Sekiguchi (the grandfather of the current owner) started with the production of celluloid toys (a kind of plastic). With this material it was possible to create many shapes, such as: heads, bodies, legs and arms, so that they could start to produce dolls. One of the Sekiguchi product lines are the GéGé dolls. Ge Ge dolls have delighted collectors and fans. In the early 70’s Mr. Sekiguchi had the ambition to create a product that would deliver a message of Beauty and Love. The Monchhichi Idea was born, and very soon prototypes followed. At the end of 1973 the development was completed and since then, many millions of children and adults have taken the Monchhichi message of Beauty and Love to heart. The name Monchhichi comes from the French word "mon" (meaning "mine")and "petit" ("small cute thing") Also they got the hint of "mon" from the English word monkey, and the sound of sucking on a pacifier like "chu-chu" in Japanese. So they mixed them all together and became "Monchhichi". Monchhichi was born and is one of the most well known brands in the toy business worldwide. The success was not only in Japan, but also in Europe, North America, South America and Asia. People couldn’t live without these cute little monkeys. Until the mid 90’s Monchhichi was available worldwide, but then they disappeared slowly from the European market. Despite some slowdown in Europe in the mid 90's, Monchhichi continued to be available in many countries throughout the world. In the year 2004 ( at the 30 years anniversary) the babies were introduced called: Bebichhichi” The designers at our Tokyo head office are creating new models continuously, so that there is always something new for everybody. In 2006 Sekiguchi opened their European Sales office, which will secure the availability on the European market. Monchhichi, the cute thumb sucking monkey, was introduced in 1974 by the Japanese Company “Sekiguchi” Since 1974 many Monchhichi’s have found good homes all over the world, and are loved by kids, parents and grandparents alike. Perhaps you had a Monchhichi when you were a child, and are looking for your favourite Monchhichi right now.

So if you guys want a MONCHHICHI go to area kids and buy one.
I already got mine.

Why waking up early can actually be a good thing and puppy updates.

So yesterday I officially started working at 9:30 in the morning. Which means that I have to wake up at 8 in the morning. Now i know to some people this doesn't seem like a big deal, but for me it is. I'll let you in on a little secret, lying in bed is my favorite pastime. One might even say that I could be a professional bed tester and be just as happy as I would be if I were a famous photographer. OK maybe that's a stretch but you get my point. Anyway as much as I love R&R I'm realizing that maybe the early risers of the world are on to something That Ive been missing out on.

So here a list of reasons why:Waking Up Early Can Actually Be A Good Thing.

1. The early morning light is really beautiful. Dare I say refreshing

2. There are such a variety of different types of people on the train this early, making it the perfect time for people watching.

3. Early morning reruns. I don't think this needs an explanation.

4.Motivation. Something about waking up when the rest of the world does gives you the strange feeling that you can accomplish the impossible. Like exercising before you go to work.
( maybe)

And last but not least

5. Waking up early gives you the perfect excuse to go to bed early. Now what can beat that.

Also I have some puppy updates:

Pat said no.

Big surprise

But he did say he would get me rabbit. But i don't think a rabbit fits my personality. I mean i had this whole puppy business planed perfectly. She was going to be a chubby American bulldog named Fire Hydrant, or Fat Head. Finding another animal to pull off those names will be difficult. Hi welcome to our home, this is our rabbit Fat Head, it doesn't work plus it makes us sound like weirdos. Since were going for rodent type animals, maybe i can get him to buy a hedgehog instead. Porky the hedgehog, that could work.
Dont worry I'll Keep you updated.
Bye for now.
