Bird House Shape Sorter!

Melissa & Doug have just won my heart with the Bird House Shape Sorter.
Its a great concept:
Each bird is a different color and shape, and the bird house has four different shaped entrances, with matching colors.
Plus they Rattle, Jingle, Squeak and Crinkle!

The colors are great and the bird's faces are adorable.

A great toy for +9 months, for those who want something soft!

Are you getting what you paid for?

As some of you may know, the boom in the sushi industry had put quite a drain on the oceans natural resources of fish. Not only is this bad for the fish populations, the environment but its also bad for your wallet. Two teenage girls from New York recently bought $300 worth of sushi and fish from markets and had it DNA tested and found that 25% of fish was being mislabeled and passed off as more expensive fish when it was actually of lower quality!!

It is the perfect little fall/winter dress because you can layer it with a cute thermal underneath it for those colder days and with leggings too! Oh Ohh!! and ballerina flats...adorable!

Jon&Kate + 8

Does anyone watch Jon&Kate +8 at all? I do, religiously!! I think it's such a wonderful show. Some people think what Jon and Kate are doing is wrong , by showing their family life and private moments on television. Some people think it is the wrong kind of exposure for their sextuplets and twins, that in the future they will regret it. But honestly we all do things that may or may not be a regret right? We just hope for the best and do the best in the moment. I personally think that Jon and kate are brave! They are a young married couple raising 8 small children ages 4 and 7...that is crazy!! I saw a woman come in last week with twins and she looked like she was about to go nuts!! I mean what they are doing is essentially showing the world "hey we are struggling a bit but what family doesn't?" they can care for 8 children and still function, that gives me hope as a parent in the future.

Also, sure they get free stuff for themselves and their children, but with 8 kids I think any sorta help and freebie is a huge help! I say go! Jon and Kate plus 8! I will be watching the new episode Monday night hehehe

Kind People, Friendly People

So I just had this customer come in with a bag full of goodies from my favorite bakery, Cousin John's. So i decided to make conversation and asked what did she get because everything from that bakery is amazing. She told me she loves everything from there too! She bought red velvet cake, chocolate chip cookies, a banana cream pie and their angel food cakes Yum yum!! So after i showed her some stuff to give as a gift and after the transaction she decided to give me a slice of of red velvet cake she bought! of course I had to decline her generous offer because I just ate my lunch and I could not eat anything else.
How sweet of her it was :)
I love when I encounter nice people, especially people who are customers at area kids.

All the Pretty Colors

I love the new Brooklyn Onsie colors:
a dark purple, and a sea blue/green

the sea blue/green is much harder to find a set color for! I think everyone has a different idea of what is sea blue/green. Maybe I am completely wrong... but this is what I think of:

ew ants!!

So I opened up my container this morning, I had some Special K strawberry cereal in there and there were ants in there!! What the hell? How in the world did ants get into my cereal? Now I cant enjoy my breakfast :( I guess i'll just have to eat my lunch haha....Oh and Just to be gross I attached a pic of ants hehehe I am eviiiil haha

*Dwell Baby*

Imagine being a baby and getting to sleep in a crib with a comfy dwell baby blankie and not only will you be comfy and cozy because of the 320 thread count made with 100% cotton percale you get to be surrounded with lucious garden prints or you can pretend you are a cowboy! Now why didn't they make this when I was a baby?! I have a polka dot down comforter at home, but if Dwell Baby would make their prints for a queen sz. bed I am totally sold !! :)

At my 7th ave store I currently carry the pink garden print, bike and vehicles print, squirrel hippos and kangaroo print as well as the blue and green trees print. Take a look at the pics!
