Buttons of Fun
When I was younger, my mom had this purple jacket with tassels that had 50+ pins on them she collected before I was born. I loved them so much I would take them and decorate my own clothes with it. Then sadly one year my mom threw both the jacket and all pins away.
I started my own collection in Junior High but soon it was forgotten. Now is my chance to start again with 'Jane Jenni 1 inch Buttons', there just so cute I got to have my own!~

Heads on Blankets Continued...
Kinda creepy, but mostly soft and awesome North American Bear makes these crazy little furry blankets with animal heads on them: ducks, sheep, bunnies, etc...
how cute are these things, seriously!! They are so soft and cuddly, they make all your problems run screaming for the door!
Plan Toys
So the Plan toy Solid drum and Oval Xylophone are completely sold out at my store! We just got a shipment of them last week and all gone by now. People really love these toy instruments because its made from organic recycled rubberwood trees. So not only is it good for our environment it is good for you child as a developmental toy. The noise, or shall I say music that you child will create by banging on these toys will actually be pleasant because it is wooden. It's just a great gift for a child of any age after 1 year, even for adult music lovers too! Why not!But Area Kids Shoppers please come by soon because soon enough I will have an entire stock filled with more Plan Toy drums and xylophones and more goodies as well :) See you soon!
Romantic Dinners and mexican parties lol
So last night instead of going to ursula's wonderful BBQ I was reminded by my boyfriend we had a date planned. Even though we have been together for way too long (9 years to be exact) we still keep the romance alive by going out and enjoying nice dinners once in a while. So he took me to blue ribbon sushi. Very Yummy and fresh :)
After the dinner we were headed out to Sunset Park in Brooklyn for his god father's 50th birthday party. I really didn't want to go because I am always the only friggin Asian in a crowd of Mexicans old and young..its really scary because all eyes are on me and I don't know if they are talking about me or what not so that was not a very fun ending to our nice romantic night. At least the pernil and yellow rice were good!

Just show up completely on time to the wrong store!! No better way to get the blood pumping than to have to walk at ridiculous speeds to the store your suppose to be working at. Really gets you ready for a day of hard work at Area Kids, once you catch your breath that is!

This is an AWEsoMe toy
I had a great time working at Area Play today; I found some great toys, had cool customers.
But, I have just opened up a box from a company called Q-BA-MAZE. I must now have this toy.
Its a pack of 20 or 50 plastic pieces that you can build into a sculpture and then run marbles through! Anything you build could be a marble run. On the website there are a lot of plans, or you can submit your own: http://www.q-ba-maze.com/find-a-plan.php
Its a toy for kids and adults, and anyone with a little architect in them.
I may have to buy one... is it too soon? Should I let the customers get first dibs?
