DAmn it!

Why did the Koreans have to invent such an amazing frozen yogurt goodness?? The frozen heaven in a cup is tangy, a lil sweet just the right amount, cold and creamy and then when you top it off with granola and fresh fruits...ohhh man it just traps you and makes you crave it!!
First I encountered Pink Berry, became addicted for a while until I found out about Yogo Monster on 7th ave, became addicted to that! HA and then I discovered Red Mango (the original korean frozen yogurt) last night and now I am sooo helplessly addicted to that. Just take a look at it...but I must warn you..even the image might be addictive!

Tootsie Rolls!

Is it any wonder why this T-Shirt by Junk Food is selling out? We currently carry this t-shirt but in Pink It is super cute!! It even has glitter, what girl wouldn't want that! And I have to agree with the message it is sending out too ;)

Oh the Toys!!

I was just speaking to a customer about the micro G-Bike. I always thought it was kind of a weird toy, like it didn't really serve a purpose. However, as i was talking to her about it i realized just what a great toy it really is. I used to think "What good is a bike with no pedals? This doesn't do anything!" Well, i could not have been more wrong in my assumption. This is not only a functional and aesthetically attractive ride for 2-4 yr. youngsters, but it also a great way for children to work on their motor skills like hand eye coordination and balance, but also alleviates the fear of riding a bike as they get older. Furthermore, it helps to nurture their independence by letting them fell like they have their own bike like a big kid building self esteem. i love toys like this!

Toy Store

I must say, it has been a while since i have worked at the toy store. Its a nice change of pace, and an opportunity for me to get familiar with how things are done here as opposed to the clothing stores. For example, when we get deliveries at fifth ave. we have to check them in and distribute them. Not always the case here at toy, i brought the deliveries to the basement where i will check them in and distribute if necessary, and organize them in their designated spots. I have never done that here, so it is pretty much new to me. I am also not totally familiar with the basement, but i know i will do a good job. It is pretty well organized already so i just need to keep focused and organized and it will be fine! Wish me luck!

I love making jewelry.
I don't know if you guys know that I actually have my own company www.patriciamulia.com.
I enjoy so much just spending time creating new styles and making jewelry. Sometimes I don't sleep because I get in my basement and all of the sudden I see that it is already time to get up. hahahahaha!!!!!!!
I love working and use my imagination.
That's why I think I love to work at AREA KIDS.
We are always getting cool stuff, making new sings, arranging shelves, creating new displays, changing windows, etc. I just love it.
Anyway, I think I am gonna get one of this beautiful Jewelry sets and make something from it.

Why do the kids love this so much?

Little Boys Like Pink

So something just happened here at Montague and it was pretty darn cute, so I though I'd share. A little boy came in with his mother and the boy couldn't have been older than 4 years old. So he comes in and his mom tells him "so pick out a little something to bring home and mommy will buy it for you" so he roams around for a few minutes and points to the little pink poodle stuffed animal I have here and then he points to water balloons. So his mom said no to the pink poodle but was willing to buy the balloons, and when they came to the register to pay he picks up a pair of pink sunglasses! He said he really like them and wants them NOW! hahaha his mom was like no pink is for girls! hahaha its was really cute...until he started to cry because she would not buy it for him :(
I say what is so wrong about boys liking pink? Who cares!
