Oh, happy dayyy..

I am in a peppy mood today! As I was waiting for the bus, the weather was perfect, breezy and the sun was shining beautifully! And just because the bus denied my Metrocard because it was expired (what kind of reason it that? ;), I didn't let that affect the great start of my day. I am also at 5th Avenue today, which is a nice change in the routine. Time to sweep. Have a nice day!

My favorite time of the year.

My favorite time of the year is October.
I love the change of the weather when the sun is shinning but the wind is cool.
Love to run in Prospect Park around trees full of different colors.
No more humidity but no freezing cold yet.
My favorite holiday is Halloween, I love pumpkin picking and carve pumpkins.
And I also love to decorate my house with spooky ghosts and skeletons.
I am so happy that October is here.
I have to plan my costume for this year.
An Ugly doll, Jelly cat, monchhichi, etc.
I will see...

FIRE + WATER

oh man oh man.

I was eating a slice of pizza for lunch; folded as per usual, and I usually always say "not too hot, please". However, this time around I forgot to ask and as I took my 3rd bite... you know when it starts to get WIDE, the bite pushed the sauce+cheese out onto my thumb giving me a 1st degree burn. I thought about suing briefly, but then felt stupid about potentially being the reason why pizza plates of the future say "caution: pizza is hot"

To go with my wicked hot slice, I bought a bottle of water also my typical beverage. I usually get a huge one to last a few hours. Had my momentary fill and left it on the desk to get back to work downstairs. It must have had a small puncture somewhere because when I just got back upstairs, the bottle was sitting in a puddle of water on the desk!!!!

I shrieked in terror (no i didn't) and grabbed some paper towels to soak up the minor disaster. No damage to anything important thankfully.. they should print a warning on those bottles: "caution: water is wet"

Meet Bunny

So I just noticed this adorable wind up bunny from Play Toys after a little boy brought it up to the counter. I have not been able to stop playing with it since, I literally giggle every time it hops up and down. (I know it doesn't take much, I'm very easily amused). There's also a wind up dog and oh man that one's even cuter than the bunny--I know hard to imagine, but it's true!

I have such a wonderful customers here at 7th ave.
I had a great experience today.
A customer came in just now around 2pm (lunch time) and asked me:
Did you eat lunch already?
I said: NO
She said: Good because I brought you YOGO monster.
I was like, OMG it is like a dream come true.
YOGO monster for lunch.
I love YOGO but it is very expensive so I can maybe only have it ones a week.
Now, I am so happy eating it and also happy just thinking that customers come here and because I give a good customer service they leave and think about me.
That was very very nice.

I am SOOOOO Happy!!

So...Last night while attempting to wash a fork a huge rat jumped out from under the dishes in my sink and not only nearly gave me heart attack but scurried off somewhere unknown in my apartment! That was the last straw! I could live with something breaking every other week, i could even learn to deal with the cockroaches, and the obnoxious neighbors i had pretty much tuned out, but RATS!! I called my landlord today, told them we were leaving and will now be paying much cheaper rent in Graves end, my favorite part of Brooklyn! I cannot wait to out of there!

Le Sac Igloo 500

I'm sure all of you have been relieved that the heat of summer has finally cooled, though the cool mornings and evenings only foreshadow the cold winter ahead.
