Tons of Customers...

So it has been really busy here up until now...a lot of people coming in and looking around asking questions but not a lot of buying! ...i asked myself why? So then I realized OH! duh I have a huge sign by the window telling people there is a huge sale at 5th ave haha...well at least there are still people interested in what my store has to offer :)

First Friday in October...

...is winding down over here at Seventh Ave. Last time I was at this store it was my first day....oh memories...( a month latter )
It's been a good day. We have had customers coming in. My highlight was helping a new Mum put a cute ej sikke lej baby hat on her lil' girl...it was one with the owl on it in orange and pink, of course!!!
...yes i am still with the owls...
I see an owl mobile hanging from the ceiling right now!!! Hooray for owls!!!
Oh, if only I could fit one of those adorable hooded sweatshirts from Lucky Wang....The purple one with the owl on it....boo hoo...

Summer is barely over and I already started reminiscing about BBQs, pool parties, beer cozies and fireworks. Maybe I'm just missing the body I had when I was able to fit into my bathing suit. Oh and yes I'm really that white.

Best month of the year!

Wooooo October my favorite month of the year! Stoops are beginning to be covered in cobwebs, pumpkins, skeletons and frankensteins and I'm already beginning to buy Halloween candy. For me, being the dork that I am, October means that I get to watch the Great Pumpkin on TV. But now I don't even need to wait!

Little Capers

With Halloween quickly approaching I am sure that some parents out there have not bought costumes for their kids yet, or perhaps your child does not know what he/she would like to be this year. A witch? A vampire? Superman or Spiderman? Yeah I know...those are kind of played out right? I mean you see kids in those costumes year after year! Well how about an awesome Little Capers Shirt! They are light weight cottom (unlike those itchy and non breathable costumes) And thebest part is that they have a cape attached to them! How cooool. Your own little super hero tee shirt and when it does get dirty mom or dad can just detach the cape and wash the tee shirt.

ALWAYS SO TIRED!!

I don't know why exactly, but for the past week or so i have been like really tired. Granted there were days when i did a lot of exhausting stuff at work, but even on my day off i din really wanna move, i just felt so lazy and i hate that. I feel like i wasted a day. I think i have not been eating healthy enough so my poor nutrition, lack of sleep, and lack of things to do have made me a total waste of space!!!

So...to remedy this dilemma, i am making a solemn promise today to eat more healthy food, exercise more, get more sleep and i am going to have a list of things i need and want to do so i will never sit home for a day and watch movies for 6 hours straight ever again!!! Not that watching movies isn't fun of course.

November 2nd, 2008.

This is what I have to do on November 2nd.
It is more than a month away but I am already starting to feel my nerves.
Nobody can imagine how hard is all the training for the last 6 months. Getting up at 6am in the morning for a 1 hour run or sometimes for a 2 hour run. Come to work and then go back to the park again for another run.
I am very excited, I can't wait to do it but the bad part of it is that I am so so so nervous that I haven't been sleeping very good.
This is not my first one, I had done Chicago, Philadelphia, Disney and New York city twice.
The reason why I am very nervous is because I have a huge goal to reach which is qualify for the Boston Marathon.
Ok back to work.
Pray for me people.
It is soooooooooo hard but amazing!!

Oh, happy dayyy..

I am in a peppy mood today! As I was waiting for the bus, the weather was perfect, breezy and the sun was shining beautifully! And just because the bus denied my Metrocard because it was expired (what kind of reason it that? ;), I didn't let that affect the great start of my day. I am also at 5th Avenue today, which is a nice change in the routine. Time to sweep. Have a nice day!

My favorite time of the year.

My favorite time of the year is October.
I love the change of the weather when the sun is shinning but the wind is cool.
Love to run in Prospect Park around trees full of different colors.
No more humidity but no freezing cold yet.
My favorite holiday is Halloween, I love pumpkin picking and carve pumpkins.
And I also love to decorate my house with spooky ghosts and skeletons.
I am so happy that October is here.
I have to plan my costume for this year.
An Ugly doll, Jelly cat, monchhichi, etc.
