Sacry Dream...

well, maybe i have been working to hard, but i have a terrible dream about Court St. this morning. About a week ago, when we had all that rain, i came to work to a leaky ceiling. Well, yesterday after the snow and rain i was worried it was gonna happen again, without really much for me to do about it. So i closed up and went home. This morning i dreamed that when i opened Court St. the store was completely flooded and that all the toys i just reorganized and re-tagged and inventoried were destroyed!!! it was horrible. Luckily i came in today with a store as pretty and clean as i had left it, no typhoon, everything was fine...but it was still really scary!!

Sure to Set the Christmas Mood!!!

Okay. So I finally forced myself to play the Christmas promo cds by Putumayo - I was hesitant because I figured it would be too early. I was seriously impressed. They are so freakin good. They're so not just for kids. The Christmas Around The World one is pretty cool and funky, but I especially love the New Orleans Christmas and A Jazz & Blues Christmas. Featuring your favourite Christmas songs performed by greats like B.B. King and Ray Charles, even a sweet rendition of Santa Baby by Emilie-Claire Barlow that can give Marilyn Monroe a run for her money. I am definitely picking up these to cds to add to my Christmas music collection, and I would absolutely recommend that you pick them up too!

Christmas Time...

There are a lot of ways to tell its Christmas time....Macy's puts up their decorations, Adam Sandler sings his songs, houses slowly become decorated, every little park of Brooklyn has there own tree lighting, etc, etc...but there is one more thing that always lets me know Christmas is here... Santa's face on every coke can in america!!!

Surprise!!!

WOW!! did not expect to wake up and see a blizzard! well, its not that bad. I don't really like the cold much either but snow is fun and pretty and a completely necessary part of snowboarding!! We should have an Area Kids snow boarding trip. defiantly a fun winter sport and a great way to get exercise and keep warm. the first time i went i was terrified and thought it would be really hard, but you catch on fast and falling down and acting like spaz is half the fun!!

and if that doesn't catch your fancy there's always...SKINNY SNOWBOARDING!!

Yeah i'll just stick to regular old snowboarding...with clothes!!

Snow

I really don't like the cold very much but when there is snow I am happy :)
The snow really makes me feel like its the holiday season, it is beautiful and I can go skiing! It really does make me want to go vacation and rent a log home in the mountains surrounded by natural beauty and the quiet...such a beautiful setting. Perhaps I will do this sometime soon :)

As if things couldn't get any better....it just did!
