Team Championships.

I ran a race this morning in Central Park.
My team Urban Athletics placed number eight from all the New York teams.
We did a good job.
Also my time was extremely good.
My time was 36 minutes and 31 seconds. The race was 5 miles so my pace was 7:18 per mile.
I am so exited that's a 3 hours and 30 minutes marathon which is my goal for the New York City Marathon.
Ok no more about me.
Now I am at 7th ave and have been very busy.
A lot of people walked in a love the new clothing that we have.
But they don't feel ready for winter coats yet.
They should start buying 'cause soon they are gonna be gone.
I love the new Lucky Wang sweaters, specially the one with the dragon.
I want it but the 6T don't fit me.

Crackers will be the death of me

Can someone tell me why these freakin things are so good???
I bought a box last night and told myself i would only eat a few but ended up eating the entire box...seriously that is not good. Consuming that many calories at night is not good, but I seriously could not help myself. It is a pretzel and then on the other side a buttery cracker!!! The geniuses who invented these should win a metal or something...

Sorry for this not so important blog, i just though i'd put this on the table..now you all know about this wonderful new invention of a pretzel/cracker hehehe

Go Montague!

i have been super stressed lately with personal problems, and with all the craziness going on here at area, and to top it off i really wasn't looking forward to working at Montague, not because it is a bad store, but because sometimes the customers can be less than friendly. There must be something new in the water here though. Today has been great so far, knock on wood, and all of my customers have been really nice. Furthermore, the weirdest thing ever happened, i was out getting my lunch and as i was walking a man stopped me and asked me a question, he asked if i wanted my palm read! I politely declined as i had to be getting back to the store, but i just thought it was hilarious! Its little things like this that get me through long days!

Appaman/One Kid Goodies!!

So I come in this morning and the first thing that catches my eyes are the new One Kid Down Coats!! They are soooo cute. My favorite is the Leopard Print down jacket for girls. It is reversible..now we don't actually carry the vest but Since I could not find a picture of the jacket I figure I can just post the pic of the vest, It is the same print. I am not sure if we will be getting the vests but be sure to check in with our blog for updates! I can only hope and pray we will because they are just too cute not to carry :)

We still can find honest people out there.

I had a customer yesterday that came with her lovely son. (LIZ)
Their were here for a while.
The beautiful boy was playing with the Schleich animals OF COURSE!!! while his mom was in our sale section looking for clothes.
This morning they came in again and she said: Hi, I was here yesterday.
I looked at them ( saw the boy wearing his new avocado shirt).
I said: Yes, I remember you, whats going on?
She answered: I just came because my son took a OSTRICH ( Schleich animal) home so I came to give it back to you.
I was in shocked I couldn't believe how honest somebody can be.
This kind of situation make me still believe that there are honest people out there.
It is hard to trust people I know that but things like this make feel good that we have wonderful customers that appreciate our business.

Carroll Gardens

So it is always nice working in Carroll Gardens at the Toddler store. I really like this neighborhood. I mean I love my usual store, 7th ave but I haven't been here at the toddler store in like 3 months or even 4months! it's refreshing to step outta Parkslope and be around here today. There are sooo many restaurants too, I don't know what to order for lunch!

I think when I can afford it one day I would want to buy a nice house around here. It's a great neighborhood to raise kids in. There are many supermarkets, cute little boutiques, restaurants and the train is right here too. Very convenient.

New Lucky Wang Owls

Lucky Wang has new owl tees and zip up hoodies
They are purple and white, and awesome
The owl is really well designed
Nicole and I decided if we could fit into any of their sizes we would rock a Lucky Wang Owl Zip up hoodie
They should be sent around to other stores later this week

I'm not sure when owls became so popular, but I am thoroughly enjoying it

Almost as cute as our sale stuff!!!!
